Tri Deltas are passionate about serving others.

We remain dedicated to three aspects of philanthropy: sisters helping sisters through Tri Delta’s Foundation, our commitment to changing the way the world treats and defeats childhood cancer through our work with local and regional children’s hospitals and pediatric cancer initiatives and through our national partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Chapter Philanthropy

One of the pillars of Tri Delta is Self-Sacrifice, and the Charlotte Alumnae Chapter demonstrates this pillar every year. We always have a team which walks in the St. Jude Walk/Run each fall. The Charlotte St. Jude Walk/Run is the largest in the country. In 2023, we teamed up with the Charlotte Alumnae Panhellenic Council and were able to raise more than $2,000 for St.Jude. We also hold raffles (Tri Delta swag gift baskets, pansy quilt, Tri Delta Christmas ornaments) to benefit Tri Delta's Foundation and St. Jude Children's Rresearch Hospital. We collect books and toys for Hemby Children's Hospital, one of only eight St. Jude Affiliate Clinics in the US, and Hemby is right here in Charlotte! In addition, each spring we cook dinner and bake cookies for the Ronald McDonald House in Charlotte. We love spreading Kindness in the Queen City!
